Root Anchor
Root Anchor is our humic and sea plant complex.
Root Anchor is a highly concentrated blend of our full-spectrum humic extract with a sea plant complex, which includes green, red, and brown kelp combined with single-celled algae.
Green
These are potential sources of nitrogen and phosphorus that can be reclaimed and repurposed as biofertilizers, particularly in regions where fertilizer runoff is high.
Some species, such as sea lettuce (Ulva lactuca) are translucent; yet appear green due to the accumulation of nitrogen. The darker green, the more nitrogen in the sea lettuce!
Red
Certain species, such as dulse (Palmaria palmata) are rich in proteins and omega-3 fatty acids, such as EPA. When was the last time you thought about supplementing your crops with omega-3-fatty acids?
Red kelp species make up the largest group of algae in the plant kingdom – there are more red kelp than brown & green combined.
Brown
The most commonly utilized group for agricultural purposes, with the common rockweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) having the greatest commercial success in North America since the 1940s.
Many of these species are among the fastest growing plants on earth, such as giant kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera) which can grow several feet per day and exceed 150 feet in total length!
